Second to only Raul Chavez in games played for the Astros-era Zephyrs, and third to only Chavez and Adam Everett in hits and at bats.

A smart and patient hitter who struck out only 95 times in the three years he played at AAA Tucson, Ramos led the Toros in walks for 1996, and in fact had the third most walks of any Astros farmhand who played at Tucson in the '90's, behind only Mike Simms and Dave Hajek. Started in left and scored a run in Mark Petkovsek's no-hitter for Tucson on May 16, 1994
